In order to achieve better outcomes, major project organisations need to improve their capacity for organisational learning. This means identifying how to better generate, capture, analyse and (re)use knowledge and insight at both a project and organisation-wide level. This study draws on the experience of 14 Major Projects Association member organisations and a review of academic literature. It sets out a simple 3-step process to help practitioners frame the challenge of organisational learning and improve their performance.
