David is a Managing Director and Co-head of Co-investment at Capital Dynamics. David is also Chair of the firm’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Investment Committee and a member of its global Investment Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Major Projects Association and is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. David has over 26 years of experience in private equity and infrastructure financing. Prior to joining Capital Dynamics, he worked with GE Capital in the UK and US, as well as with GE's European private equity business. David also served as an adviser to AXA Private Equity (now known as Ardian) and established the European business of First Reserve Corporation. He trained as an electrical engineer in the late 1970s and worked on energy-efficient electrical equipment design in the mid-1980s before joining BP Ventures’ solar photovoltaics business in 1986. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Southampton, and an MBA from Cass Business School of City University London.
