Arnab Banerjee is an experienced Programme Management and Change consultant with a background in large and complex, including multi-national, organisations covering sectors such as power, transport and central government. Arnab has a clear track record in the development, implementation and embedment of methodologies and delivery frameworks in various organisations – with strong engagement with users being at the core of the change effort. He is a Fellow of the Association for Project Management (APM) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

Jo started as a structural engineer at Arup and has spent over 25 years inside major programmes where she has experienced first-hand how and why they fail. It is rarely the technical complexity, rather it is almost always within the relational infrastructure: the rules, ways of working and relationships that turn strategic intent into delivered work.

She recently authored the Department for Transport’s (DfT) framework for Project Sponsorship in response to the Stewart Review, practising what she preaches by codifying the lessons learned directly into the framework, such that following it steers sponsors clear of the failures those lessons identified. It introduces relational intelligence as a sponsorship lever, and is AI-enabled to support capability building. The framework builds on the same method as her well-regarded ‘Blue Book’ bridging processes at the HS2 and Transport for London (TfL) interface, turning complexity into pragmatic day to day ways of working that continuously improve.

Jo is currently implementing outage planning at National Grid, based on the T-minus possession planning she reshaped from Network Rail principles for London Underground, and supporting National Grid in standardisation through value-based decision-making. She also authored the People chapter in PRINCE2 7, the first time the methodology has included one. Before Co.Cre8: HS2 governance and assurance, PwC Capital Project Services, The Nichols Group, and the Olympic Delivery Authority.

Jo studies the mycelium beneath the org chart and spends an inordinate amount of time delving into podcasts and books around the oddities of human behaviours. Her theme is that lessons only count once they change how people actually work; learning from experience, in action.

Andy is the Executive Director of the Major Projects Association, prior to which he spent 30 years as a practitioner, consultant and assurer of complex projects and programmes for public, private and third sector organisations both domestically and internationally. He has a focus on project governance, the treatment of inherent project complexity and organisational development of project capability.

Andy is a respected author, having worked with HM Treasury, Cabinet Office, the Association for Project Management (APM) and Axelos to develop best practice guidance on their behalf. Publications include PRINCE2, P3M3, Routemap and the Governance of Co-Owned Projects. He was cited in the Sunday Telegraph’s business supplement as one of the most influential people in project management. He is the Chair of the APM’s Governance Special Interest Group, the Chair of the IPA’s independent project advisory group for the Project Initiation Routemap and is the engagement workstream lead for the Project Data Analytics Task Force.

Andy is a collaborative and inclusive senior leader with a track record of building high-performing teams both within his organisation, across partnerships and with voluntary groups.

Outside of work Andy spends his time mountain biking or helping out Willaston FC (a community football club) as treasurer and manager of the Under 14s team.
