Climate and Sustainability - Delivering Net Zero
Full Day Seminar
Major Projects are amongst the hungriest of human activities when it comes to carbon. Re-educating clients, construction and implementation contractors and individuals to adopt a new and sustainable approach which mitigates project impact and creates a sustainable infrastructure legacy remains a huge challenge. How can the Major Projects Sector reduce their own carbon footprint and step up to deliver the UK government’s goal of Net Zero Carbon by 2050? What steps can organisations take to ensure they can deliver carbon neutrality and minimise climate change?
Join us to learn from member organisations and partners that are playing their part in making change happen. You will also learn more about the role of the MPA’s Sustainability Ambassadors Network in creating a shared commitment to delivering net zero and building a network of sustainability professionals fully prepared for the future.
We’re delighted to have Claire Gott MBE, UK Head of Industry & CSR, WSP confirmed to chair this event.
This half an hour window will allow you to greet fellow delegates and familiarise yourself with the event platform before the event starts at 10.00
