In October 1981 the Major Projects Association held its first seminar. This annual conference marks the beginning of our 40th anniversary celebrations in which we look backwards and forwards. During this event we hope to re-introduce positive major projects practices which have fallen out of habit, to take a hard look at current ways of working (are they best practice or just current practice?) And to imagine the world 40 years from now - what will our major projects look like?  What will they be?  How will we deliver them? 

Members are invited to share in advance their versions of "the future today" - what are you currently doing which is straight out of a Sci-Fi film? 

We are currently planning to deliver the conference as a physical event and as per previous conferences will be offering one space per organisation on a first come, first served basis (additional spaces may be available closer to the time of the event). Spaces are offered at no charge (attendance is covered under your organisation's membership fee) and include accomodation at the venue for the evening of Monday 13th September.
