Major Projects Association Simulator Event
This is a full day virtual workshop, aimed at delegates with at least two years of project management experience and anyone that does not claim to have perfected the art and science of project management! Managers with responsibility for project management capability and/or training are also invited to attend, as a way of evaluating the simulation for internal learning or project initiation purposes. Delegates are organised into virtual teams of three or four people (to form mixed teams from across the MPA member organisations) and are required to make decisions and judgements in several key areas of project management such as:
We are delivering this event virtually instead of in person due to the restrictions placed upon all of us by the COVID-19 pandemic. The workshop will be facilitated via Zoom using the conference call facility and breakout rooms. We will create cross-sectoral teams one week in advance of the event to enable teams to introduce themselves and to discuss the pre-reading.
We have reduced the price of this event to acknowledge that these are difficult times when cashflow is difficult to predict but when staff still have professional development needs.
