Inclusive design and the impact of creative and critical thinking

Full Day Seminar

Studio Birmingham, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP

rop kerbs were initially developed to assist for wheelchair users. Anyone pushing a pram, pulling a trolley or a suitcase now has an easier time navigating the streets because of them. Designing something that works for everyone benefits everyone.

As major projects are delivered in a world that is constantly changing with a workforce whose expectations are also changing it is important to consider what it means to lead major projects, now and into the future. Has the need for creative and critical thinking become more important? How can this be encouraged? What does it mean in practice?

This event will look at how we can ensure the design of our major projects benefits everyone but being as inclusive as possible.
