An ageing population, expectations around social inclusion and the need to mitigate the disbenefits associated with many major projects, rather than simply discount them as ‘outweighed by the benefits’ are all changing our perception of projects and what they can achieve. One of the most significant and most challenging aspects is the role of digital technology and personal data which can help to break down barriers between people of all types and public projects but only if we understand how they change the experience for all.
For our session on inclusive design for major projects, we’ll explore The Living Room of the Future and use an activity called Aladdin to imagine inclusive solutions for different stakeholders. To register click here.
