Launch of a brand new Learning Legacy site by Thameslink

The new Thameslink Learning legacy site offers case studies, videos, best practice documents and lessons learned from one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects of the last twenty years.

The Thameslink Programme Learning Legacy is the collation and dissemination of good practice, lessons learned and innovation from Thameslink Programme, aimed at raising the bar in industry and showcasing UK PLC.

The Thameslink Programme Learning Legacy aims to share knowledge and insight, through case studies and technical papers providing lessons and recommendations to help others. Documents and templates that were used successfully on Thameslink Programme are provided to be ‘pinched with pride’ by other projects

The initial site includes all of the following themes:

  • project and programme management
  • responsible procurement
  • consents and planning
  • health and safety
  • sustainability
  • engineering
  • people
  • external affairs
  • innovation
  • information management
  • better stations
  • new infrastructure
  • new trains and technology

The next phase of the site will cover many of the operational facets of this major project including: train operating companies, timetabling and digital elements.
