Carbon reduction in transport management

Summary

London 2012 has developed a carbon footprint methodology which will provide for a benchmark in measuring the full project carbon footprint of a major event. This paper reviews the Olympic Delivery Authority’s (ODA’s) approach to reducing the carbon impact of its transport arrangements and associated lessons learned.
