Case Study: Driving Innovation In Project Risk Management Through The Project Data Analytics Coalition

Thales UK, in partnership with the Project Data Analytics Coalition (PDAC), developed RiskEase, a centralised Power BI dashboard to tackle fragmented project risk data. Sparked by their involvement in Hack#23, where their prototype won second place, Thales productionised the solution in just six weeks — integrating data from SmartCore to deliver enterprise-wide risk visibility and mitigation insights. RiskEase v1 launched in December 2024 and is now shared via PDAC’s open-source Solution Centre, with future phases incorporating predictive analytics, AI chatbots, and Agentic AI, showcasing how collaborative innovation can rapidly transform project risk management.
