Driving Productivity: Infrastructure Lifecycle Guidance

Summary

This guidance is being made available from, and following, the launch of the ICE’s State of the Nation 2022 report in October 2022 as part of ongoing work by the ICE Productivity CAB. The different sections will be made available as they are ready, with the complete toolkit to be online during Q1 2023. The guidance will be accompanied by a number of best-practice case studies.

The guidance provides detailed advice on actions that can be taken to improve productivity throughout the infrastructure lifecycle. As well as being organised by lifecycle phase, the guidance identifies opportunities available to the following actors:

• Clients, operators, asset owners, programme managers and integrators
• Designers
• Constructors
