Embedding sustainability in the delivery of London City Operations

Summary

The City Operations Programme remit was to oversee the Olympic and Paralympic Games-related work required in London, but outside official venues. This work was partly about ensuring smooth, safe and efficient operations to support the Games and to keep London moving. This paper looks at how this was achieved, in part, by embedding sustainability in the delivery of City Operations by using an internationally recognised management system for sustainable events.
