Summary
Geoarchaeology is the process by which techniques from the fields of geography, geology and other earth sciences are used to understand and interpret archaeology. At the Olympic Park, a phase of intensive and wide-ranging geoarchaeological investigations revealed a buried landscape, several metres below the modern land surface.
